Monday Adventure ~ Dreams

Monday Adventure starts with oh so blissful sleep. Then lead to me dreaming.

When I sleep there are time I don't dream at all. Then there are times I dream so vividly I wake up and it is as if it happened to me. :)

Some of my best story ideas I have come from dreams. For example my Rarities Incorporated Series. :)

This is also the case with the book I have been working on and the next one that I will be working on afterward. Both these books (they are each part of a new series. Separate series so 2 new series) came to me in dreams. And maybe that is why I had the dream I did. A very vivid one that is about the book I am working on now. I can't go into details about my dream since I haven't given any details about these upcoming series. I'm going to reveal it sort of soon. :)

So anyway this dream was so vivid and when I woke I was like whew. Yeah this is going to be good really good. Of course I had to scramble and get out my notebook to make sure I wrote all of what I dreamed down. :) Love when I have dreams like this. And I'm so looking forward to sharing it with you when I announce the books. :)

That was my adventure for today. What was your Monday Adventure?

Monday Adventure ~ Cleaning gone awry

Monday Adventure starts with cleaning supplies, a vacuum cleaner and my MP3 player.

Yeah I know weird. On Sunday I was doing my usual cleaning I did as I do when doing that, I put on my MP3 player to keep me motivated. :)

So there I was cleaning and grooving as I go then I was done. Music makes the time go faster. Which is a good thing. And the music made me keep going so I started what I like to think of my ready for Spring cleaning. As in I am so ready to be able to open the windows to some wonderful sunshine and not the cold. So I started the clean of my house. Now usually I plan for this as it takes me a weekend to get things changed over. Go from the heavier linens (bed, curtains and so forth) to the lighter stuff. So you remember I mentioned I started on Sunday. That was one day so yeah I didn’t get everything done. :(

And now my house looks like a wreak and I don’t like it one bit. But I know me if I start when I get home from the day job then I’ll be up all night and still not done and have to work in morning. So I’m going to have to bear the mess until this weekend. Then finish my cleaning….maybe. I don’t know if I will last the week with my house a mess.

And now I’ll need to vacuum again. Good thing I like cleaning…well some things I like to clean not all of it. So I’m sitting here watching the mess and thinking of the mess and well….days like this I wish I had a maid. :)

That was my adventure for today. What was your Monday Adventure?

Monday Adventure ~ Tweaking to Find a Fit…

Monday Adventure starts with a planning.

So I mentioned I was planning stuff this year. :) One of the things I have been planning and figuring out is tweaking what I wanted to write on this blog. It's a continual work in progress. I change things up sometimes. :)

Last month I blogged about various things on a daily basis and enjoyed it. Now I've figured out things I want to add to blog now it's about the timing (how often) I will post and on what days of week or weekend. I know what I will do for that. Plan to blog a few times during the weekdays and on weekend more randomly. :) I enjoy changing and tweaking what I do. Keeps it fresh. :)

That was my adventure for today. What was your Monday Adventure?

Monday Adventure ~ Perception You Leave…

Monday Adventure starts with a conversation.

I had a conversation with someone the other day about…authors. And they were discussing about an author they liked. Yes past tense. Something the author did made them stop buying their books. I won’t go into details but let’s just say perception is everything. Because of this readers change of perception of an author they went from an auto-buy to a do not buy.

This made me also think of how I am just perceived as a person in general. It’s a thinking moment about how you act to others and how this affects your relationships.

Makes you wonder the perception you are leaving.

That was my adventure for today. What was your Monday Adventure?

Cooking with Taige ~ Steak

Monday Adventure ~ Something Unexpected...

Monday Adventure starts with an phone call.

Something unexpected came up over the weekend. I have some stuff I have to do and that has made me adjust some stuff temporally. Don’t like when my schedule is messed with…but oh well can’t be avoided.

So I’m adjusting at least temporarily to the unexpected.

Cooking with Taige ~ Plantains

Cooking is a passion of mine and I’m bringing you into my kitchen. Whenever I’m in the kitchen it brings back fond memories of time spent with family as we cooked, laughed and of course made memories. :) And I make new memories each time I cook. Sharing some of the things I am cooking. Here’s what I have cooking this week. Again making this.

Another of the foods I loved as a child. Plantains is delicious. Green, yellow or in between it doesn't matter which one they are all so good. There are so many ways you can use it. My favorite is pan –fried in coconut oil. Also boiled. So yummy. Here is before then an after picture of some I made. Looks so good and it was tasty too. :)
