Although I’ve seen them all before I've been binge watching Breakout Kings on Netflix. It's no longer on and only had 2 seasons but I enjoyed it.

Although I’ve seen them all I’m again re-watching Hawaii Five-0 on Netflix. My nephew is visiting and he is now hooked on the show. LOL. It’s a good show and have fun with my nephew as we watch. :)

TV Pleasures – Mike & Molly

I’ve been watching reruns of Mike & Molly. So sad the show is now off the air. I started from the beginning and love it still. All the characters and the fun. Laughing and shaking my head at their path to love. The family who has it quirks. Love the show and will miss it when the new season starts. But at least I have the reruns so I can watch those.

Movie Temptations ~ White Palace

White Palace is one of my favorite movies. I hadn’t watched it is while but did the other day and once again fell in love. It’s such a great movie that tugs on all the emotions. Hmmm…might have to watch it again.

Movie Temptations ~ The Abyss

I’ve been watching a lot of movies and having a blast revisiting many that I haven’t see a while. One of my favorite movies is The Abyss.

It brings back memories. This was one of the first movies our family watched on VCR. My uncle gave us the VCR as well as the VHS of the movie and we watched it together. The movie left an impression on me when I was a kid and even watching it today it still does. Also the memories of spending family time together. Now I introduced the movie to my nephew and he too enjoyed it. More memories being created. :)

WIP Wednesday

On 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month - Will post short snippets of what I am working on. It will range from the book I am currently writing, insights into some part of the book I'm writing or anything else.

On 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month – This feature came about from a conversation I had…well I won’t go into details…I was up to some mischief and that is all I will admit. *snicker* This feature will be about my sanctuary, oasis and all mine. :). The place I'm referring to is:

Taige's Office Space

I set my office to be comfortable, fun and…so many other things. I love it. It’s decorated to stimulate all my senses. It takes into account that I love organization and tempers that with visual, mentally as well as physical stimulations (pause for my having a dirty thought moment come on and join me. lol.). This will also include my love of office supplies (have loads of notebooks and so on) and gadgets. :)

Another relaxing day....

I'm having another relaxing day! On my couch with a drink beside me while I continue to catch up on the shows I have in my DVR. In the DVR still to watch is Golden Boy, Scandal, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Southland and Army Wives to name a few. Yesterday I watched some episodes of the show mentioned above and the new Syfy show Defiance.

Movie Night - Gimmie some music/dance

Ahh... Friday night. I'm having a muscial/dancing movie night. Last weekend I watched Step Up, Rent, Save the Last Dance 1 and 2. Tonight I am going old school to Breakin 1 and 2. Then also plan to watch Take the Lead and Stomp the Yard. Yep having a singing and dancing night.

On the DVR - So much to see

Ahh... Glee how do I love the show. I'm rewatching the episodes that I taped. I had me a Glee marathon and it was good. Now I am looking for more. Also have Hawaii Five-O and Criminal Minds to watch. My DVR is so filled with TV goodness. Back to watching my shows.

A Voice Crush

I'm a huge TV fan and I’m about to share a crush with you {insert blush here}

It started when I was younger and I loved to watch Knight Rider. Nope although David Hasselhoff was okay. My crush was on Kitt. I love me some Kitt. I liked the voice. Now is that so wrong that I had a crush on a car. Come on it’s fine to have a crush on a car. Those sexy lines of the shiny black Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.

They even had a Knight Rider movie and a brief series. I was again so crushing on the new Kitt. {grin} In the series I liked how they had David Hasselhoff come to see his son. Yeah his son and sort of pass on the reins. But my one peeve when the show was on is why didn’t they let the old Kitt come to see the new Kitt huh. Come on I would have loved to see my crush before I pass on the crush to the new Kitt.

I have a thing for voices. A voice creates so many reactions. Don’t get me started on Goliath from the Gargoyles cartoon series. Thoughts of his voice made me come up with an idea for one of my books. Or Optimus Prime from transformers the cartoon and the movies. Those a topics best left for future blogs. I can go on and on.

TV pleasures: So You Think You Can Dance - 2009

I had to call my sister and give her what for earlier tonight. I could not believe she didn’t tell me one of my fav shows was starting. So You Think You Can Dance is back. She laughed at me when I told her why I was peeved. Humph.

I almost missed one of my fav shows because of her. Thankfully I didn’t. And from what I am seeing with this first show the season will be fab. Some of the tryouts were so great. I can’t wait to see what this season will bring.

As the season progresses I love watching the contestants learn dances out of there comfort zone. The wonderful choreography numbers they some up with. Lots of the dances last year moved me so much.

Can’t wait to see how the next few weeks plays out and I can’t wait to see who will win this year’s So You Think You Can Dance.

SCi-Fi & Writing Day

I'm a huge fan of the sci-fi channel. Today is my sci fi day. As well a writing day. Although I write during the week after I get home from day job I use the weekends to write more than I can during the week. I look forward to those sci fi Saturdays when there is a theme of sorts leading up to a new to sci fi movie (well somewhat new). As I write the sci fi movies play in the background. Imagine writing a sex scene as a shark eats someone or an alien. LOL. Sci Fi entertains me as I write and relaxes me. I checked and tomorrow looks like it is alien day. Whoo hooo. Come on Sci-Fi day - take me away. LOL.

Mid Season Premieres

I’ve mentioned a few times one of my fav things besides reading and writing is TV and Movies. I did a feature here on my blog last year called TV Pleasures. I plan on starting it again soon and changing the title a little. I’ll be calling it TV/Movie Pleasures.

Today I’m exploring my TV pleasures. I was looking forward to the mid season premieres of Monk and Psych. They started a few weeks ago and I am loving it. Also I can’t wait for The Closer which starts tommorrow. I enjoy Detective Sanchez and am really hoping they don’t kill him off. They left a cliff hanger last season. I’m counting down the hours until I can find out what happens.

A friend of mine also tapped the whole season on True Blood for me. I plan real soon to have a weekend of watching the season. I heard mixed things about True Blood but watching to form my own thoughts.

Now my other fav kind of shows - reality shows. I love some of them. There are so many and some of them just don’t catch me. I’m really enjoying Superstars of Dance. Seeing the various countries competing, their countries style of dance, and seeing how the professionals do it. It was wow. Fabulous.

The new season of shows are starting. I'll be watching my old favs and checking out some of the new shows too. I'm looking forward to this season.

TV pleasures: Flashpoint

This is anotehr new series. The characters and situtations are compelling. I remember Amy Jo Johnson from Felicity. Overall I have had a good time watching Flashpoint.

TV pleasures: The Cleaner

This is a new series and it is great. Edgy, gritty and raw. Benjamin Bratt is a good in this role and the stories are deep. I'm enjoying it alot.

TV pleasures: Monk

I luv me some Monk. All his anal retentive afraid of evberything self. Each season gets better and better. I am loving this season and Monk is great. Did I mention I luv me some Monk. LOL.
