I'm back...

I’m back. Thanks for all the outpouring of concern. It has been very difficult not getting things done. I have to still work up to my old form but I’m here.

RT Convention, Faery Ball, and Modern Day Fairytale..

In 2008 I will be attending the RT Convention. Also I am part of the 2008 faery court.  The Faery Ball will be on April 17, 2008 and the theme this year is Under the Sea. This is my first RT and I am excited.  The reason I am telling you all this is that I wrote a Modern Day spin on a fairytale.

A party hangover...

Can you get a hangover from an online party. {Grin} yeah you can I have one now. LOL. this weekend was fun. 

I have a project in the day job that will be crazy for the next couple of days. Long hours and not home much. I know I won't make my 70 of sweat number at least for the first half of this week. At least I had a great count last wek. Wrote 18,399. A great start.

Looking at the hunger in his gaze Yadira raised an eyebrow. "Why don't we just get it over with?"
 
Dimitri look said he knew exactly what she was talking about. "Get what?"
 
Yadira saw the challenge in his gaze. He wanted her to say it.  Yadira smiled she never backed down from a challenge.
 
"Tasting each other."
 
Dimitri looked at her then stepping in front of her Yadira felt dwarfed by him. He had to be at least six-five to her six feet. Looking into her eyes he lowered his face. He paused barely a hair's breath between their lips. Yadira heart rate increased waiting for his taking. Dimitri leaned in and their lips touched. He kissed her softly barely a brush of lips then withdrew. Narrowing her eyes Yadira hands flashed up cupping his face stopping him from retreating.  His look was contained.
 
Closing the distance between them Yadira ignored the whispers of danger on the air and kissed him.

The clean salty taste of him filled her blocking everything else out. Moaning she rubbed against him feeling his elongated member against her. The rigid feel of it drew a whimper from her. The man growled meeting the sound. His lips were rough and harsh against her. His tongue stroked inside her mouth in a demand she could not mistake. He was laying claim to her. His fingers tightened in her hair and he pulled her head back holding her immobile for his taking. Murmuring Laila rotated her hips against his hard erection. It created a delicious friction but was not enough. Suddenly his kiss gentled. And the contrast between the two left her breathless and wet.
 
His tongue stroked all over her mouth finding all the sensitive areas, awakening sensations that made shivers rack her body. His hold was gentle as he held her close against his hard muscular chest. She could feel the heat pouring off of him. His heart beat a rapid taboo against her. Her breasts became even more achy and sensitized. He pulled away slowly. They parted with a lush wet sound. Opening her eyes she met his own darkened gaze. His eyes looked almost black and his mouth was curved in a soft smile.

Licking her lips she saw him watch the movement. He raised his eyes to hers and there was a hungry look on his face. A look that said he wanted to lie her down and feast.
 
The man purred. "Ummm… I could have you naked and my cock buried deep inside you in two seconds."
 
Laila couldn't find her voice to disagree.
 
The man looked at her his expression shifting to curiosity. "Who's Sonya?"

Tashana Rennix ~ Destiny or Desire

With swift strides Tashana Rennix enters the room. Raising an eyebrow she stares. The silence lengthens then on a soft sigh she speaks.
 
How do you combat destiny and a man who makes your heart beat with such intensity that you have no thoughts but about him? What do you do when this man embodies everything you have vowed to destroy on sight?
 
Pushing back her hair impatiently from her face she paces back and forth.
 
I'm a Nefer Investigation Force Agent. A Nefer Guardian yet I have no control over this. NO CONTROL OVER WHAT WILL HAPPEN.
 
Turing swiftly she slams her fist down on a table. It splinters into a million pieces. Raising her hand she waves it over the debris. With barely a sound it rebuilds itself until it is whole once again. Back turned away Tashana stares out of the window.
 
I'm used to action and making decisions on a daily basis that affect the balance between life and death. No one or fate can control me or my decisions.
 
Her head drops forward to rest against the glass.
 
At least I thought so until Sanjay Callens. He is everything I desipse the most and fear getting close to. He is a shadow dragon. Yet he draws me to him. The warrior in me respects his fighting skills and ruthlessness while the woman in me wants to strip him bare to have my way with him.
 
A delicate shudder racks her. She starigthenes and turns. The intesity in her gaze is unnerving.
 
It is not enough we are racing against time to save the world. Now my soul is calling for his.
 
Shaking her head violenetly she clenches her fist.
 
Sanjay Callens makes me feel out of control but I am a Nefer Guardian and we do not give up or sit by and be taken.
 
A wicked grin curves her lips.
 
 Sanjay maybe mind numbingly sexy but I plan to use a few of my own tricks to that will cloud his mind and seduce his senses.
 
She turns and strides away. Suddenly she stops and glances over her shoulder.
