2007 year in review and 2008 looking forward

As I think back on 2007 it is with gratitude and mixed feelings. This year was a year of some ups, downs and then way ups. LOL. It has been a fun, exhilarating, weird and sometimes crazy time. I loved every second of it. I made some wonderful new friends, got reacquainted with some old friends and lost some friends. It is the way life goes.

I’ve been blessed to have eight books published by three different publishers in six month's. When I think about it all I can say is WOW then grin wipe my forehead and think that's why I am so tired. It is a good tired though. A tired of a job well done. I've had so many releases this year and loved each one. From the exhilaration of the offer of the contract to the edits. The first look at the cover art for my book, getting the release date, when I saw my books hit the coming soon pages and then release day. It was all a wild wonderful ride.

I've launched Simply Irresistible Authors - http://www.simplyirresistibleauthors.com with some wonderful writers. 2007 was a year chocked full of releases, appearances and so on.

Now I look towards the upcoming 2008. I already have books contracted for next year. Some I have release dates for and others I’ll let you know. My plan next year is to slow down some. Don't worry I still have books coming out. Those already contracted books, a few others I have subbed and those I will be subbing soon to various publishers. Hmmm... I wonder if that is actually slowing down. LOL. We'll to me it is.

A project that is close to my heart will be starting in January 2008. Aliyah, McKenna and myself will be launching Satin Notes - http://www.satinnotes.com. On the site we will have free stories based in Trescott Cove and Savoy Valley. The free stories will be for all readers. I’m looking forward to the launch of Satin Notes and am very excited. All of us gave our yahoo groups a sneak peek at the cover for our first free read yesterday. It is gorgeous.

So there is a lot coming in 2008 and I look forward to all that may come.

So to close off a wonderful 2007, I want to wish everyone a wonderful last day of 2007 and look forward to a happy and prosperous 2008. Be safe, get a little naughty and most off all have some fun.
