A new Satin Notes story has started. Here are the details.
Brawich’s Way
by Aliyah Burke, McKenna Jeffries, and Taige Crenshaw
Genre: Contemporary
Length: Novel
Price: Free
Publication Date: January 30, 2009 - March 13, 2009
Cover art by MMJ Designs
When a man who usually gets things his way meets a woman who only accepts her own way, what will happen...
Nicola Holland has fought hard to get where she is. She does not take no for an answer and refuses to back down from any challenge. Frustrated that her attempts to meet with her client were being thwarted, she goes to see him personally. The meeting does not go as she planned. The man she meets is like nothing she expected. His mixture of arrogance, confidence, and charisma is intoxicating to her senses. Yet, as she gets to know him, it is his gentleness that makes her most afraid. She knows that getting involved with him would be foolish, but can she resist? Does she even want to? Nicola decides to do as she has always done--do things her way and let no one stand in her path.
Bradford “Brawich” Chadwick likes his solitude, and people generally leave him be. Yet, from time, the raven-haired beauty comes into his house, and he wants to get up close and personal. Although Nicola is trespassing, she acts like she owns the place and thus seals her fate. No way can he let this self-assured, arrogant, and sexy woman walk away. He is usually underestimated because of the image of lazy self-confidence he portrays, but Nicola sees through all that and challenges him. She might think she has the upper hand and that things are going to be her way. However, Nicola is about to learn that it is always Brawich’s Way.

Mid Season Premieres
I’ve mentioned a few times one of my fav things besides reading and writing is TV and Movies. I did a feature here on my blog last year called TV Pleasures. I plan on starting it again soon and changing the title a little. I’ll be calling it TV/Movie Pleasures.
Today I’m exploring my TV pleasures. I was looking forward to the mid season premieres of Monk and Psych. They started a few weeks ago and I am loving it. Also I can’t wait for The Closer which starts tommorrow. I enjoy Detective Sanchez and am really hoping they don’t kill him off. They left a cliff hanger last season. I’m counting down the hours until I can find out what happens.
A friend of mine also tapped the whole season on True Blood for me. I plan real soon to have a weekend of watching the season. I heard mixed things about True Blood but watching to form my own thoughts.
Now my other fav kind of shows - reality shows. I love some of them. There are so many and some of them just don’t catch me. I’m really enjoying Superstars of Dance. Seeing the various countries competing, their countries style of dance, and seeing how the professionals do it. It was wow. Fabulous.
What shows are you watching or looking forward too?

Creating Images for series
The year is already flying by. I’m excited about the opportunities coming to my career this year. I’ve been playing catch up. Getting back into my writing schedule. Some of my friends tease me about always changing my writing calendar. Yeah I have one. I’m an organization freak. LOL. The good thing about having a writing schedule is that I have an idea of what I will be writing next. I also have my schedule set so it leaves flexibility for me to change and shift things around. I have another friend who has a writing calendar also and we are always discussing the changes we make. How it helps keep us on track and set our long term writing career goals.
The schedule helps me a lot with my writing and planning out my various series. I love writing series because I get to get deep into the world, see previous characters and develop more. It is fun and of course time consuming. You must make sure that you keep the thread of the series accurate to your previous books and so on. LOL. But I love it. It’s like a puzzle that keeps getting more pieces that fit together to create a beautiful image.
I love creating each piece to my image of my series and writing the next book. It’s like opening a candy jar and finding my favorite candies. I guess that is why I tend to like to read series too. To get deep into the world and people there.

Series: Club Immortality
Welcome to Club Immortality where all you desires will be fulfilled. Nothing is taboo and privacy is a guarantee.
Veronica Gunn is surprised by a call from her good friend. Although she would rather spend the night alone as she had planned, Veronica goes to Club Immortality to meet her friend and her new boyfriend. When she gets to the club she is shocked that an employee party is going on. As she searches the crowd for her friend Veronica opens a door and finds herself in a darkened hallway. Closing herself away from the noise she follows the hall and opens the door to the manager’s office. When she sees no one she turns to leave. A whisper of silk makes her turn and her heart races at the man who detaches from the shadow and stands before her. Harsh need grips her as the man holds up his hand waiting….
Zayne, as the club’s manager of Club Immortality he has had his share of offers but turns them all away. A loner he keeps to himself and has no entanglements. He has retired from the Htrae Elves, a warrior race, a long time ago. Along with his retirement he has given up his need for companionship. Another year alone didn’t matter. Until he feels the woman as she enters the doors of the club. He beckons her to him. When the woman finally comes into his office he sinks into the shadows and watches her. She is sin and temptation but he must have her no matter the cost. Coming out of the shadows he raises his hand and waits to see if this woman would take a sensual journey of silk and shadows.
Can a warrior elf find a naughty partner to ease his loneliness and fulfill his needs…
Open the doors and step inside Club Immortality…………..
You all are the first to know about this book being complete. {grin} No cover art yet but I will let you know when I have it. I’m excited about the 3rd book in my Club Immortality Series coming soon to Total-E-Bound.

Now for the teases again. Hmmm… what else do you all think I have cooking. I’ll give you a hint. It’s wicked and you’ll want more. (grin)

Producing long-lasting marriages where the men never stray, the women don’t nag and 99.7% never face each other on opposite ends of a court room.
But what happens when her spell falls into the hands of the wrong person? Like Ashley Benedict, notorious playboy and wedding planner extraordinaire who eats a sample meant for his clients? There’s only one thing that can happen. He succumbs to the spells bewitching powers and sets out to charm the pants off of the hardworking sole proprietress of Forever, I Do cakes.
While Rosalind frantically searches for an antidote, she succumbs to Ashley’s lustful appetites. Will guilt push her into finding a successful cure for her bewitched lover, or will her heart allow herself to be locked into a loving relationship with a man who might not really be in love with her.

Happy 2009 and Plans
Happy 2009! A new year with so many new things.
I feel the anticipation for 2009. I’m excited about the opportunities coming to my career goals. Last year’s memories are with me and I am going to have such fun in 2009.
I’ve decided not to make resolutions but plans for upcoming year. So here are my plans:
Here is part of my list of my plans for 2009:
~ Write more books this year and get contracts for them
~ Revise some of my books that are completed and sub them
~ Work on more joint projects (come closer. *in a teasing voice* already started this)
~ Finish my special project for Crenshaw Café (another tease. LOL.)
What are your goals/resolutions for 2009?
