As I left my house this morning for work it was so quiet and still. The snow on the ground added to that feeling of being all alone. It might also be because there was no one else out and about yet. I was the first footsteps on my block. So there I was knee deep in snow trudging along. And the funny thing I was very happy. Moments like this makes me appreciate what I have. Life, health and being able to pursue my dreams of being an author. There is nothing like that feeling.
It added a pep to my step as I walked. Inhaling deeply I took in that snow stillness and let it seep into me. With that feeling I know I am going to have an awesome day. Won’t let anyone get to me today. I’m just going to remember that feeling I had this morning as I walked.
